ICAN is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that exists on donations and paid memberships. Basic level memberships cost $30/year and include a subscription to national ICAN's newsletter THE CLARION as well as disounted registration to ICAN conferences. Professional level memberships cost $60/year and include all the benefits of the basic membership plus a listing on both the national and local ICAN websites to promote your services. Your membership dues fund not only your local group, but enables ICAN to continue its mission of supporting women in their journey towards understanding the risks of cesarean section and with the purpose of helping them have healthy births and healthy lives after undergoing the surgery that changed them. Joining and renewing your membership directly through the Baltimore chapter means that we get to keep a portion of the funds for local use.
